Yates Avenue P&C

What we do

The P&C is a community of parents who work together to be able to provide funds to allow the school to purchase valuable resources to support the students of Yates Avenue and enable them to prosper in their learning and development. To raise these funds, the P&C run various fundraising events including, discos, stalls, BBQs, pie & cake drives, lunch specials each term.

How we operate

P&C Meetings are held on a Monday night in Weeks 4 and 8 each term at 7pm via Zoom. It is here that decisions are made about funding priorities, activities and operations for the year and the Principal gives an update on school matters that concern the school community.

How can you help

Everyone in the school community is welcome to join the P&C. We are thrilled to accept new members who bring an array of new ideas representing a vast cross-section of the school community. It doesn't matter how much or how little you have to offer, you can still make a valuable contribution to the future of Yates Avenue Public School.

Participating in the P&C is a great way to meet other parents, find out what's going on within the school and to provide input into the future of Yates Avenue Public School. Your support is greatly appreciated!

How to join the P & C

If you are interested in joining the P&C or assisting with any of our events, please come along to a meeting. Please know that P&C members are not expected to turn up to every meeting or assist with every activity.
